Digital picture frame
I really should go buy a digital picture frame. I'm not sure why I haven't thought about it before. Since we only own a digital camera, almost all of our pictures are digital and not prints. The only prints I own are ones from picture day at my daughter's school or from her dance class pictures. Granted, they are very nice (very expensive) professional pictures but that means that I don't have any pictures of my dogs in my office.
These frames are pretty nice. You just take some pictures with your digital camera then plug the memory card into the LCD frame. DigitalFramez.com even offers a free 256mb memory card with every order of a 10 inch frame. Though I'm not sure a 10 inch picture frame would fit on my desk. I just have too much stuff!
Maybe you're the type of person that doesn't take a lot of pictures. (I was before I had a kid.) The digital frames also handle video. They handle all sorts of different formats. It might be pretty neat to have a framed video of a Gackt concert on my desk. Of course, my co-workers think I'm strange enough without having concert videos on my desk. It's definitely something to keep in mind. Maybe I'll try to talk my husband into one when the next pay day rolls around.
