Power washing
My husband and I have been working on fixing up our house. Last weekend he borrowed a pressure washer from his father in order to wash the front porch and hopefully strip some of the old paint from it. It looks like the previous homeowners kept painting over the existing paint on the porch so it will take us quite awhile to get through it all. There's some sort of special paint remover stuff you can put in the power washer to help remove old paint but we haven't looked into that too much. Hopefully it won't take too long. I'd like to get it finished before winter shows up.
