Most gaming sites you hear about offer games like poker or blackjack. I, however, am more of a slots girl. I know slots isn't a particularly interesting game. Heck, I get bored of it after awhile. But card games generally have too many rules for me to remember. I don't know what the difference is between a flush and a royal flush or what their point values are to know if I really want one. Then there are the different types of poker! It is just too much for my little brain to handle. Give me a good slots game and I'm happy.

That brings up the next problem. Where to find a good online slots site? This is pretty cool. Let's say you have a website and you want to place a picture with a caption on it but you don't want anything plain. The Bubblenator lets you add bubble captions to any picture on the internet. All you have to do it type the URL of the picture into their form. The next step allows you to move the speech or thought bubble around the picture and type whatever you want into it. You can even change the size of the bubble! I think that I might have too much fun with this.

So, I gave it a try. I took a picture of Sorimachi Takashi and made a thought bubble on it. I tried to upload it here but it requires Javascript and, for some reason, that won't work on this blog.That's probably lucky for you since I'm not much of a comedian. I have a difficult time coming up with witty things to stick on a picture. That doesn't mean I won't keep typing weird things in the bubbles. Maybe I'll actually come up with something funny for once. Just no LOLcats stuff. That's getting a little old now. We need something new and preferable funnier. That is your job now! Go forth and find something funny to replace LOLcats!

A lot of people want to try absinthe because they hear it's illegal and everyone wants to try something when they are told they can't have it. In truth, you aren't allowed to distill or commercially make absinthe in the US but you can own a bottle and consume it. I think there's a company in the US that got permission to make absinthe though I don't know the details of that.

One of the neat products is a perforated absinthe spoon. Basically, you pour the absinthe into a heavy parfait-stemmed absinthe glass. Then you put a sugar cube onto the spoon and hang the spoon on the rim of the glass. Once that is set up, you get some ice cold water and slowly drip it onto the sugar cube, which dissolves into the absinthe below, until you get an approximately 2:5 ratio of absinthe to water. Once the sugar is dissolved, give the liquid a swirl with the spoon and slowly drink it.

I think that sounds a lot more interesting than just chugging back a shotglass filled with the stuff. Just try to make sure you aren't making out with your twin sister or something. (I wonder how many people have watched Eurotrip?)

Everyone loves taking MySpace Quizzes. Where else can you find out which house in Harry Potter your friends belong in or what video game character you are? You can even create your own quiz in order to stump your friends. Maybe they don't know you as well as they think they do.

I took a 'What (cartoon) show are you?' test. My result was Kim Possible. Of course, this test was only five questions long so it's not like these results are amazing. In the five question 'What animal are you?' test, I scored beagle. Personally, I prefer quizzes where there are a ton of questions. While they are still fairly stupid internet quizzes, it feels like there's a better result when there's more questions. Yes, I know it's a pain to try to think of more than five questions but c'mon, at least pretend that you want people to have fun with it.

Overall, the site isn't too bad. It just needs some people over the age of 13 to create a few quizzes. They don't necessarily have to be brilliant quizzes. Just something a little more interesting than 'what dog are you' or 'do you know me.'

In case you haven't heard,. there is a live action Dragonball movie in the makings in Hollywood. The cast list so far?

Remember that this isn't supposed to be Dragonball Z, which most people are familiar with. This is supposed to be the series before that - Dragonball. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

The weather was so sucky this weekend. It was so cold then it got really windy. The power was knocked out in some areas, including the building where our server is housed. So my website was down for part of the weekend. Blargh. Luckily, the power was back on today.

But THEN. There was a major accident on the highway on our way into work today. We ended up about an hour late. More Blargh.

I'm ready for the summer please!

There was a mass shooting at a sports club in Nagasaki Friday evening. One person, a female worker at the club, was killed and five more, including two girls aged 10 and 9, were injured. Co-workers of the deceased commented that she was recently stalked by a foreigner. The shooter is still at large. 

I used to have terrible credit. Or at least I did when my husband and I tried to get a home loan a couple of years ago. I probably should check again to see if my score has gotten any better. There are a ton of bad credit loans out there that supposedly help you fix your credit score. Consumer beware! Make sure you check on everything before signing any paperwork. You don't want to sign up for something that will make your credit worse.

I'm not sure if I should be excited about this. There was an announcement recently...I think it was by NTV...that there would be a third season of Gokusen airing in April. I really enjoyed the first season but the second season was pretty bad. It was nothing more than a complete rehash of the first season but with different actors. And I really like Nakama Yukie so hopefully this won't be a total loss.
