What is your opinion of her? At this point in time, I've only seen a couple of her series. She seems to do well playing a "typical" quiet Japanese woman. I have yet to see her in a role where she breaks the rules or is more forceful with her feelings. It would be interesting to see her try out some different types of characters.

I think Nakama-san is a great comedic actress. I've often watched a series just because she was in it. While I haven't watched any of her dramatic roles yet, I believe that she could pull off a dramatic role just as well as she does her comedic ones.

What is your opinion of her? I've enjoyed watching her in various dramas. From what I've seen so far, she has the ability to bring innocence into a character, even if they may not actually be innocent. As for her singing career, I've tried to listen to a few of her songs. For the most part, they are too syrupy sweet for me. She hasn't released an album for a couple of years. Maybe she's left the pop behind for acting, where she really seems to belong.
