Who is ringing in the New Year with you?  Who do you wish could be with you, but isn't there?

I woke up my daughter and together we watched the ball in NYC drop on Dick Clark's New Year show. My husband was in the room but he was playing World of Warcraft or something. There isn't anyone else I'd rather spend the new year with.

Have you ever ridden in a hot air balloon or a helicopter?  Where did you go?

>_< I'm afraid of heights. Both of these are completely out of the question. I'd probably puke before I got very high.

What's the greatest video game console on the market? Do you own it or is it on your wish list?

We use our Xbox 360 a lot. We actually own every console except for the Playstation 3. My daughter plays the Wii a lot...especially the sports games. So it really depends on how you want to define 'greatest.' The 360 gets more use since it is our main DVD player and my husband plays a lot of games on it. But my daughter prefers to play the Wii.

Do you own all the albums of any particular musical artist or group? Who?

How many jobs have you had in the past five years? Where and what did you do?

I've been at my current job for seven years. Wow, that's a long time. I'm an Administrative Assistant in Devon, PA. Though I'll admit that I am looking for a new job. Preferably something closer to home.

What was your favorite road-trip of all time?

We didn't take a whole lot of road-trips when I was a kid but my grandmother used to take my sister and I to Seaside Heights ever year around the end of summer. It was after the crowds had gone but it wasn't cold yet. Those were my favorite trips. We'd all play a bunch of Skee-Ball and nickle slot machines then my sister and I would gather all our tickets and get cheesy prizes. Those were really great trips.

Mostly likely I was still celebrating the husband's birthday ^_^ And I had just merged Kosaikon with Zentrancon. Amazing that it was only a year ago.

When do you file your taxes?  Do you do it yourself or get outside help?

I try to file them sometime in February. It mostly depends on when we get all of our tax stuff in. I do our taxes myself with Turbo Tax. I used to do them by hand but I am terrible at math so Turbo Tax helps me a lot ^_^

What's one family recipe that you wish you knew how to cook?

I wish I knew how to make the chocolate chip cake that my grandmother used to bake. I think my mother has rewritten the recipe into actual words instead of things like "a bit of" but I'm sure it won't be exactly the same.

If you put together a time capsule today, what would you put in it?

Even though the format would most likely be obsolete by the time the time capsule would be opened, mine would consist of a lot of DVDs. There would be a few DVDs with files of the various shows I like. (live action Hana Yori Dango, the Nana anime....etc.) Then there would be a DVD with the music I currently enjoy. Another DVD of pictures.

As for actual stuff? Maybe a Wiimote. I don't really have all that many non-digital things that describe who I am now. I am a geek, that's all ^_^
